Privacy Notice Christine Lampard has made the bittersweet announcement that she’s stepping back from her guest presenting role on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’. The beloved 45 year old Irish presenter has been a regular face on our screens, filling in for Lorraine Kelly during her well-deserved summer holiday. But as all good things must come to an end, Christine shared on Instagram that today marks the end of her “summer stint” at the helm of the popular morning show. She expressed her gratitude in a heartfelt post: “Last day of my summer stint on @lorraine.” She didn’t forget to thank her team with a special shout out: “Thank you as always team @lorraine for being brilliant and @helenhandmakeup @bronaghwebster @mauriceflynn @cilerpeksah_hairstylist @michellewinser @pauloblake for the early morning laughs too!”

Christine also reached out to her fans, appreciating their kind words: “And thank YOU for all your lovely messages.” Her departure has left fans expressing their sadness and support, with many calling for her to be a permanent fixture on the show. One fan commented: “You really need to do this show all the time such a natural presenter.” Another shared their comfort in watching her: “Watching you makes me feel at home. You should have your own show!” A third fan praised her, saying: “Christine is my favourite. In an unexpected twist earlier in the week, Christine Lampard faced a small on-air hiccup with colleague Andi Peters who attempted to greet her off-screen but found she was nowhere to be seen.
