Emma confessed that the hit dating show is “bonkers” as she explained the concept for those who haven’t seen it yet, while also sharing some behind-the-scenes updates. “It’s absolutely addictive,” gushed The One Show co-host Alex Jones, congratulating the couple on having the number one show on Netflix at the moment. Love Is Blind involves a group of singletons who enter individual pods and date each other without ever seeing one another. After a few days, the remaining couples who still want to continue with the experiment get engaged and meet their partner for the first time.

“It’s bonkers, let’s just start there, let’s put it out there, it’s not your ordinary dating show,” Emma declared. “I say ‘it’s bonkers’ as you hear the concept and you’re like ‘that surely can’t happen’ but it can,” she added, with Matt chiming in: “And we’ve watched it happen.” The duo continued to discuss watching the couples fall in love behind-the-scenes after chatting from their pods. Matt revealed that his former Big Brother presenter wife loved nothing more than watching the dates unfold from the viewing gallery, reports Wales Online.

“We missed lunch just watching these people – like you said earlier, it is addictive. You just cannot stop once you start,” Emma admitted. Meanwhile, Lauren asked the couple if they thought they would have connected if they had met in the show’s famous pods. Emma immediately replied with an “absolute yes”, but Matt was less certain, joking that he would have likely done something “silly” to ruin their chances.
