Privacy NoticeCraig Revel Horwood, the notoriously sharp-tongued Strictly Come Dancing judge, didn’t hold back when asked about this year’s line-up. When quizzed by BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills on his thoughts about the contestants, he cheekily responded with “who is she?” when former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri’s name came up. Craig will be back on the judging panel for the 22nd series of Strictly, which kicks off next month. The star-studded line-up includes BBC presenter Nick Knowles, ex-England footballer Paul Merson, and Olympian Sam Quek, who are all vying for the coveted Glitterball trophy. While covering for Zoe Ball on her breakfast show this morning, Scott challenged Craig to predict how each celeb would fare on the dance floor, by rating them out of 10. Despite not having seen any of the stars strut their stuff as of yet, Craig played along, saying that was the fun part – rating them based purely on speculation.

He gave high marks to some celebs, predicting JLS singer JB Gill would score a seven. But others didn’t fare so well in his predictions, with opera singer Wynne Evans, known for his Go Compare adverts, only getting a one. But it was Tasha Ghouri who got the most brutal response. When her name was mentioned, Craig simply asked: “Who is she?” After Scott explained she was an influencer, Craig conceded: “Oh influencer, of course. She looks tall, she might be good at ballroom – five.”, reports the Express.

Tasha Ghouri is competing in Strictly this year

Pop sensation Toyah Wilcox has already caught the eye of Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, who gushed: “She’s fabulous, she’s going to be a nine.” Craig, known for his strict critiques and low marks during his 20-year tenure on the show, holds the record for dishing out the most one of 10 scores in the series’ history. Tasha couldn’t contain her excitement about joining the Strictly line-up, exclaiming: “Pinch me, I can’t believe I’m going to be on Strictly Come Dancing! I’ve been watching the show since I was little it’s a firm Ghouri family favourite – so this is a total dream come true.” “I know it’s going to be an unforgettable experience and I hope to represent and make everyone proud out on that dance floor.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
