Fans raced to the comments to send well-wishes to Maddy as she marked the milestone birthday. One person said: “Happy 18th Birthday Maddy. Hope you have amazing day. @darrendayofficial your daughter is stunning can see why your so proud. Xx.” “Happy 18th birthday Maddy hope you have an amazing day xx,” wrote another. A third added: “Happiest of Birthdays Maddy.” The sweet birthday tribute comes after Darren opened up to his followers about his mental health battles. Taking to Instagram earlier this month, the actor posted a video of himself talking about his latest diagnosis. He said: “Hello everyone, Darren here. I look sh**. I’m flying in and out of the country at the minute to do some gigs and I’m jet lagged and I’m tired and everything but I just wanted to put this on. “I talk about mental health – have done since 2020 really. Started to feel comfortable and needed to talk about it. So it’s well documented out there that I am treated for bipolar disorder type two and BPD (borderline personality disorder) but I’m now being told that the main problem could be ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and that none of the meds I’m on – I’m on about 17 pills a day – but none of them treat ADHD.”

He added: “The reason I wanted to put this on is because nowadays, there’s potentially a year to two years’ waiting list to be diagnosed on the NHS and to get a private consultation and to get to the point of being put on meds by those people, you are talking up to £1,000 for those first two consultations. No wonder so many people are suffering. I think it’s disgusting. Alright, loads of love.” Darren previously revealed that Robbie Williams saved his life after he was given just six months to live. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Darren candidly opened up about his battle with alcohol and drug addiction, and how he credits Robbie, 49, with saving his life. Speaking to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid, he revealed that he had relapsed during the first Covid-19 lockdown, after which he broke down to Robbie. The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate explained: “I relapsed at the beginning of the first lockdown, so I am just coming up to three and half years sober. “I owe my life to my pal Robbie Williams because I broke down to Rob and he sent me to rehab in South Africa and I was given six months to live. “I was in an absolute state. I broke down to Rob and he said ‘leave everything to me mate’ and he saved me, without Rob I would not be on this planet, without a question of a doubt. “And because he’d been through all of it years before he knew what to do and even now, we Facetimed four nights ago. He’s just the most incredible support to me, I owe my life to him.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
