Privacy Notice Fans have shown their displeasure after former Love Islander Casey O’Gorman, who appeared on the dating series in 2023, joked about Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury just days after the couple announced their split. Casey, who also appeared on Love Island All Stars, suggested in a TikTok video that his friends Molly Smith and Tom Clare were now a more famous couple. Posting a video, Casey, who is known for his sense of humour, put on an announcer’s voice and said: “And the new undisputed, most famous Tom and Molly from Love Island….” He then dramatically paused before he continued and said: “Tom Clare and Molly Smith.” He then burst out laughing. He captioned the clip with the words: “Congrats on the title Tom Clare and Molly Smith.” Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury met on Love Island in 2019, so many of his followers realised it was a dig at the couple and criticised his joke. One wrote: “Casey too soon,” while another agreed, writing: “I’m heartbroken Casey not now.” Others said: “CASEY PLEASE” and “TOO SOON CASEY.” Sign up to OK’s TV newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

Molly-Mae was the first to confirm that her relationship with Tommy was over on Wednesday 14 August. In a sad statement, she wrote: “After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.” Tommy later posted his own announcement, saying: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
