Nicki, 57, took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from the intimate celebrations, held in Bunbury on Saturday, July 27. “This time last weekend…. Congratulations to this wonderful couple Charlotte & Cel better known know as ‘Charlestino’ @greeeners @celingrao [heart emojis]. Who met on location filming Escape so we all feel we’ve played a very small part in this love story. “A truly magical & very special evening celebrating the happy couple as the sun set. Also to catch up with some of the Escape team in the Cheshire countryside. Even got a group shot leaning on the trademark 5 bar gate.

“We all love these two. The most beautiful & magical wedding.” Escape To The Country fans raced to the comments to congratulate the happy couple. One person wrote: “That’s really lovely… nice to think the programme has these associations and relationships.” “The bride’s dress is so beautiful,” said another. A third added: “Congratulations. A beautiful love story.” Nicki attended the wedding alongside her rarely-seen husband, music executive Dave ‘Shacky’ Shackleton. Like her colleagues Charlotte and Cel, Nicki and her husband Dave also met at work, before going on to marry in 1999.

The presenter donned a red, floral Rixo frock for the occasion, while Dave wore a denim blue over shirt paired with some light trousers, and shielded his eyes with a pair of aviator sunglasses. Charlotte and Cel were married in their local church, before heading back to the family home for drinks, canapés and some live music, where Nicki and her crew were pictured partying the night away. While Charlotte’s job is not known, Cel’s social media bio says he works as a director and producer. He has worked on other popular TV shows including Coach Trip, Great Coastal Railway Journeys, Four In A Bed and Dinner Date.
