Privacy NoticeJames Martin’s cooking show took an unexpected pause when his chat with guest chefs Claude Bosi and Jonny Lake was disrupted. As they were discussing viewer questions, James noted the quality of the queries: “They are good questions so far. “We have got another one…Barbara Rogers, we loved your recipe for Tarte Tatin, it has won awards with the family apparently.” During a discussion about alternatives for the classic dessert, James asked: “I did a classic apple Tarte Tatin, this is Barbara, what would you recommend with a Tarte Tatin, stick with the apple or….?” Claude shared his preference: “Apple is my favourite but you can try pineapple…,” while Jonny suggested: “It is also nice with pears. but apple has got to be the one.” James then mentioned the versatility of the dish, saying, “But it’s not just that you can use vegetables as well,” to which the chefs agreed, “You can use onions, shallots,” reports the Express. “You can use shallots, bits, and pieces like that,” James reiterated, only to suddenly halt the conversation due to a noise interruption.
