Privacy NoticeGB News viewers were left wondering where Eamonn Holmes had vanished to as he was noticeably absent from the GB News Breakfast Show. The 64 year old presenter, who usually hosts alongside Isabel Webster from Monday to Wednesday, was missing on Monday’s show (August 19). Isabel, 41, was instead joined by Nana Akua, a familiar face on GB News since 2021. The pair dived into the day’s hot topics, ranging from Keir Starmer’s waning support to Kamala Harris’ last-minute campaign efforts in Pennsylvania. While there was no official word on why Eamonn wasn’t on air, it’s speculated that he might be taking some well-deserved time off. Following his public split from Ruth Langsford, Eamonn has been linked to 42 year old Katie Alexander, also a divorcee.

She’s going through what I did after our marriage ended.” George hinted that Katie might be feeling remorseful about the impact on the Loose Women presenter, saying: “Katie has a heart so will feel bad about Ruth.” It emerged that Katie and Eamonn had been in touch via social media while she was still married to George, though he maintains their initial interactions were strictly friendly, reports the Express.

Recounting their exchanges, he said: “She was not swooning over him as though he was George Clooney. But she enjoyed being active on social media and mentioned one day she got a response from him.” Yet, George was unexpectedly surprised to find out that Katie and Eamonn had been “regularly” meeting up since they parted ways in 2022. The entrepreneur confessed: “I was surprised by it. Katie would go and visit him. It was a regular pattern.” Meanwhile, Ruth, 64, is embracing her new independent path and has recently treated herself to a stunning makeover. The ex-This Morning host decided it was time for a change and experimented with longer hair. Ruth took to her social media to share with her fans that she followed their suggestions and was keen to see how a few extra inches would transform her look. Radiating joy in her dressing room, Ruth dazzled in a chic black and white long-sleeved blouse and chose bold eye makeup, looking almost like a new person.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
