Chatting with Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast, Chris shared: “I went outside for a breath of fresh air and then Margot comes out. In my head I’m like, ‘What do you say to Margot Robbie?’ How do you have a normal conversation with somebody that famous?” reports the Mirror. “So I decided in my infinite wisdom to tell her about my friend who has a micropenis. It’s better than, ‘How are you? How’s acting and that?'”. This unusual conversation clearly left a mark on the Aussie actress, who later mentioned Taylor’s name to the Barbie casting team. “Maybe two years down the line I get an email from Warner Bros. saying, ‘Do you want to audition for this role in the new Barbie film?’ I fully thought it was a prank, they were like ‘Can you send a self-tape?’. I thought there’s no harm in sending a self-tape,” he shared with Kemp.

In a fleeting cameo, Taylor portrays Ken Emcee in the film. “I was fully convinced it was a prank,” the star also confessed to Cosmopolitan UK. “These YouTubers, they’re clever, they’ll write full-on contracts and do the prank video. But I pulled up at Warner Bros. and saw Ryan Gosling walk past my car and I thought ‘this definitely isn’t a prank.'” After his encounter with top-tier A-listers, Taylor is currently featuring in the new series of Celebs Go Dating alongside Helen Flanagan, Gogglebox’s Stephen Webb and singer Jamelia. He explained to Heat World about his decision to go on the show: “There’s a lot of value in going through the process. On Celebs Go Dating, you get the support of the agents, so you get that coaching.” “Let’s face it I’m [34], I’m single and I’ve been on two reality dating shows, so clearly I need more help.
