Privacy NoticeMicah Balfour made his EastEnders debut earlier this year, when he joined the cast as Junior Knight. The character was the newest addition to the Knight family, who arrived in Walford in 2023. Junior has made quite an impact on Albert Square so far, especially on the women that live there. He spent the night with Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) moments after arriving in London and is now embroiled in a risky affair with his dad’s ex-wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins). While Junior’s life is full of drama, it seems Micah, 46, lives a much quieter life. Here, OK! takes a peek into what the star gets up to away from Walford…

Micah hails from Peckham, London and has been acting since around 2005. He kicked off his career in ITV’s The Bill, in which he starred as two different characters. He went on to play Dr. Jermaine Bailey in Emmerdale, before guest starring in Death in Paradise as well as drama series The Gold. His theatre credits include The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Market Boy andAbsolute Beginners. Away from acting, Micah appears to be in a longterm relationship. He has shared photographs of his girlfriend, Nat-Nat, on Instagram on several occasions and the couple look to be very loved-up.

In August 2023, Micah posted a selfie with his other half as they announced they’d moved in together. He penned: “Our new home,” with a red heart emoji. More happy news came in August 2024, as the soap star revealed he and Nat-Nat are due to welcome their first child together next year. “So we have some exciting news….,” he wrote alongside a baby announcement photo. Meanwhile, Nat shared the same snap and said: “We’ve been keeping a little secret…our best adventure yet!! Due February 2025,” with two heart emojis. The couple haven’t revealed if they are expecting a boy or girl.

Micah’s EastEnders casting was announced back in May, and it seems Junior is planning to stay in Walford for the foreseeable. The character is the son of George Knight (Colin Salmon) and older half- brother of Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford). Speaking about his soap role, Micah said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders as part of the Knight family.
