Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing champion Rose Ayling-Ellis is set to make history as the first deaf presenter on British TV, teaming up with Clare Balding to host Channel 4’s Paralympic coverage. The 29 year old has reportedly already begun rehearsals ahead of the Games’ launch in Paris next week. An insider revealed to the Mirror: “Channel 4 are really excited about this unique pairing of Clare and Rose. “It’s a first for the Channel and takes its live broadcasting accessibility further than ever before. Rose has already done some rehearsals whilst Clare has been busy covering Wimbledon for the BBC, but we are excited by seeing them work together on screen and we are confident viewers will love them together too.” EastEnders star Rose, known for her role as Frankie Lewis, is also reportedly ready to find love again after her split from long-term beau Samuel Arnold last year.

Her TV industry work is highlighted alongside snaps of her enjoying festivals and holidays. OK! has contacted Rose’s reps for comment. The news comes following reports that Rose and Samuel called it quits in September 2022 due to their lives heading in different directions, exacerbated by her hectic schedule.

After winning hearts and the glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing with Giovanni Pernice, Rose toured with the show, which may have contributed to the couple’s decision to part ways. A source spilled the beans to The Sun about the seemingly peaceful split, revealing: “It’s very amicable and they’ll remain close friends, but unfortunately, there is no future for them romantically.” The source also disclosed that the pair had “spent time apart” while Rose was on the Strictly tour which had an “impact” on their relationship. Delving deeper into the emotions involved, the source admitted both Rose and Samuel found the ordeal “difficult” but agreed it was the “right” decision to part ways. Revealing more, the source said: “It’s been difficult for them both, of course, but they’re certain it’s the right move.” Later, in a Telegraph interview, Rose reminisced about meeting her former flame, reflecting: “I felt, from the start, like I had known him for a very, very long time … if that’s part of what ‘love at first sight’ can mean?”.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
