Privacy Notice Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis has shared the heartwarming moment that she told her son Caben that he was going to become a big brother. The sweet milestone comes after the soap star revealed to OK! that she was 16 weeks pregnant. In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Stephanie gave her followers a glimpse of the moment that she told her seven year old son that he would soon have a new sibling while on holiday in Majorca. In the clip, Stephanie, 31, and her partner Joe McKalroy sat either side of Caben as they relaxed on the beach. As they soaked up the sun, doting mum Stephanie gave Caben a present to open – telling him it was something “he’d need”.

As he unwrapped the blue wrapping paper, Caben unveiled a blue T-shirt. “I’m a big brother,” he said. “What do you -,” he asked before Stephanie showed him an ultrasound scan of his sibling. In response to the announcement, Caben looked overjoyed as ran around in the sand before giving his mum and Joe a big hug. Stephanie also held back the tears as he gave her bump a kiss. “Well… This was the most perfect moment. We told Caben on the beach on our holiday. I was so nervous to tell him, it was such a big moment and one he hopefully remembers for the rest of his life,” the Hollyoaks star wrote.

“It’s so beautiful to just watch him at 7 years old trying to process such big news in his little head. He’s asked for a brother or sister for so long now, so when he found out you can see its overwhelming process it.” Stephanie, who has revealed to us that she is pregnant with another baby boy, then outlined some of her favourite responses from Caben following the news. “Cabens classic one liners, “How did that get in there?” “so thats why you have a big lump” and the best part for me at the end.. “IM HAVIG A BABY”,” she added. “Caben you are going to be the best big brother, I actually cannot wait for the baby to be here now to see your love for one another, for you to have your sibling your best friend for the rest of your life! I can’t wait to see you both grow, see your bond and see the life you both live together. I love you so so much @caben.davis.”

The pair even revealed that Joe’s plans to propose were ruined by their “telepathy”, and that he was going to pop the question while on holiday. “We’re so telepathic, we always say the same things at the same time,” said Stephanie. “He said he knew where he wanted to pop the question and I read his mind. ‘We’ll walk down the pier on holiday and you’ll ask me there,’ I said. I totally ruined it!” Joe added: “That’s why I can’t say anything to Steph. I need to keep quiet. But wherever we do it – home or abroad – we just want close family and friends.
