Privacy Notice911 singing star Lee Brennan has posted a video on Instagram to celebrate his 51st birthday, surprising fans with the way he looks as he appears much younger than his age. In the video, he thanked everyone for their birthday best wishes and said: “I’m always overwhelmed with it all, but it is really appreciated, so take care and thanks again.” He added: “We’re off to Malaysia, come on!” before he signed off, referring to the band’s current tour. Fans were quick to comment on how youthful Lee looked, with one writing: “I can confirm ladies he still looks like he’s 21 in real life too – this is no filter video!” Another wrote: “You are NOT 51!” while a third questioned how old they must be if Lee was the correct age, saying: “How is this legend 51!!! And how are we 40? Where has the time gone?” Not surprisingly, a few asked how he managed to look so young, with one asking: “How do you avoid wrinkles Lee? We need to know the secret!” and another adding: “How have you not aged? I was seeing you in concert when I was 16, im now 40 and you look the same???”

Fans can’t believe Lee is 51 years old

The Carlisle-born singer and songwriter formed 911 with Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn in 1995, when he was 22, Jimmy was 24 and Spike was 21. The trio signed to Virgin Records and released their first single, a cover of Shalamar’s Night to Remember, in 1996. The band released four albums before they split in 2000. The trio reunited in 2008 for a tour, and again in 2012 when they appeared with Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, B*Witched, Honeyz and Five on the documentary series The Big Reunion. Known for being hugely popular in South East Asia throughout their careers, the band went on tour there in 2019, and in 2023 collaborated with Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc on a single recorded in both English and Vietnamese. The band recently celebrated their 30th year together on tour in Malaysia, and are due to play dates in the UK before Christmas. In recent years, Lee has also trained as a lifestyle coach. In 2021, he shared his latest training certificate with fans, writing: “”I’ve passed & I’m buzzing!!! I’m now a Certified PN1 Nutrition Coach, which feels amazing.
