And the show has reportedly already signed up its first celeb, TOWIE’s Ferne McCann. Ferne rose to fame in The Only Way is Essex, she’s also appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!, Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. On her reported appearance on Dancing on Ice, a source told The Sun: “It’s been a rough few years for Ferne but she has always been an ITV star, with her roots on Towie and then with her first steps into the mainstream on I’m A Celebrity in 2015. “So Dancing on Ice will be a chance for her to knuckle down, work hard and win over the public. But her casting will raise eyebrows given her background.” An ITV spokesperson said: “The lineup for Dancing on Ice 2025 will be announced in due course.” OK! have contatcted reps for Ferne for comment.

In a scandal two years ago, Ferne’s voice notes were leaked. Ferne later took to This Morning to publicly apologise, breaking down in tears, she said: “It definitely wasn’t my finest hour and it definitely was a very difficult time in my life, but I do, I need to take this opportunity to publicly apologise again to those affected, obviously, the words I used were unpleasant and I have reached out privately to those people and it’s very difficult.” Ferne also described her show First Time Mum as a “lifeline”.

When First Time Mum ended, Ferne had a different show, My Family & Me where she lets viewers into her home with fiancé Lorri Haines, daughters Sunday and Finty. In an exclusive chat with OK!, Ferne opened up about her home life and adapting from life as a single parent. “It’s so nice when Finty does something that makes us both laugh and we’re both cooing over her. There’s no better feeling than sharing that with someone.”
Ferne went from single parenting to being engaged to Lorri
Ferne continued: “I think I’ve been quite open about single parenting – experiencing the best thing in the world and it’s by yourself. You look up and there’s no one to share that with and I found that really tough. “It has been really special doing it with Lorri. But don’t get me wrong, I’m so programmed to doing it by myself, I feel like I’m a very independent mother. I’d go anywhere in the world with those two by myself.
