Privacy NoticeLove Is Blind UK star Sam Klein has opened up about undergoing a nose job after being plagued by “insecurities” about his appearance. In episode one of the show, Sam opened up about how he had changed his physical appearance prior to being on the social experiment. In particular, he mentioned his nose job because he had always been ‘conscious’ of the way he looked. Sam, 31, disclosed that he underwent Rhinoplasty surgery to have his nose “reshaped”. The reality TV star shared that the motivation behind his surgery was to alleviate his anxieties about his appearance. “For me it’s changed everything, I can walk into places anywhere and just feel comfortable. I don’t feel like everyone’s looking at me from an angle where I’m feeling uncomfortable,” Sam admitted.

He continued: “It’s that constant worrying, did you get that photo of me where I’m on that side. Or when I’m getting married one day, hopefully that will help. Standing at the front of the alter and having to have my nose on the is something I’m dreading. This is going to get rid of all that.” Sam revealed that his new look has boosted his confidence and enabled him to live life more fully. “Having something that you’ve had a stigma about for your whole life and now I know for the next 30 or 60 years I can just live without that one thing that always just put me off myself,” he said. I felt like it was holding me back, the actual way I look physically and the mental side, I’m free.”

Netflix’s British version of hit reality show Love Is Blind, hosted by TV power couple Matt and Emma Willis, was released on August 7 and quickly became a sensation. The unique dating experiment involves singletons getting to know each other in ‘pods’ where they can’t see each other. Over several days, they form connections using only their voices, before deciding if they want to propose and finally seeing their partner for the first time. Sam ultimately failed to find love on the show. Despite getting engaged to Nicole in the pods, they struggled to connect after their reveal. He confessed his love for her, but she didn’t reciprocate.
