Privacy Notice TV psychic Sally Morgan has revealed the shocking moment she was asked out on a date at her husband’s funeral. The Celebrity Big Brother 2018 star was left stunned by the inappropriate advance while mourning her late husband John, who passed away in 2020. Recalling the incident, she said: “At his funeral there were like 200 men, maybe even more. And one of them asked me on a date… at John’s funeral. I hadn’t even thought about that.” Despite the unexpected proposition, Sally wasn’t tempted as she feels her bond with John continues beyond his death. She expressed her feelings, saying: “John is no longer here but I am still married to John. I talk to him all the time.”

Sally and John shared an incredible 49-year romance, and she believes she’ll never meet anyone who could live up to him. Reflecting on their deep connection, she added: “He was the love of my life, and he will always be the love of my life. We were like one person. I talk to John all the time and I say ‘I don’t think I can be alone for the rest of my life no matter how long or short that may be’.” She concluded with thoughts about moving forward, saying: “There is no way I am going to replace John. I have no intention of doing that. But it would be nice to have a man I imagine John looking at and laughing thinking ‘how different to me is that’,” reports the Daily Star.

Celebrity Big Brother returned to screens earlier this year after a six year break. The show went down in history as one of the best and featured Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh and a hilarious tag team. The pair were set secret challenges and generated drama amongst fellow housemates, including former This Morning TV presenter Fern Britton, Bradley Riches, Levi Roots and Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith. David Potts was crowned as 2024’s champion. The Channel 5 show was hosted for the first time by AJ Odudu and Will Best, with fans patiently waiting on an announcement for the next series, rumoured to air sometime in autumn.
