Privacy NoticeOn Monday night’s episode of Celebs Go Dating, the celebrities attended a brunch where they were reunited with their previous dates and given feedback on their dating skills. Dating coaches Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara summoned Love Island star Chris Taylor to the sofa for his turn as his dates Yeva and Sukaina walked into the room. During their initial date, Sukaina told Chris that she wouldn’t be happy with him having female friends if they were in a relationship. As Paul read out Sukaina’s feedback, the brunette bombshell revealed she thought Chris got defensive when she made her statement to him. Chris explained: “I have a lot of girlfriends, friends that are girls, I personally couldn’t be with somebody that wouldn’t let me have friends that are girls because for me that’s coming from a place of mistrust.

“I shut down at that point because that is such a misalignment on values, I can’t see this going any further right now.” Sukaina responded: “I just felt like he’d shut down and didn’t give me a chance at all after that friend comment, it was like you just didn’t want to know.” Chris decided not to go on another date with Sukaina, but the subject left viewers at home perplexed as they shared their views on the situation. Commenting on the Celebs Go Dating Instagram page on a clip of the moment in question, one fan said: “The no female friends thing is s very controlling and insecure demand. “It would be an instant massive red flag for me. Instand end of date material for most people.”

Another Instagram user agreed and expressed: “It’s a controlling thing to say though so I honestly don’t blame him at all! No one should tell you who you can and can’t be friends with!” Somebody else penned: “I’m amazed that this woman doesn’t see the red flag she’s carrying.” A viewer who understood Sukaina’s perspective added: “I love the way she carries herself, she’s obviously traditional and he’s not so they don’t work together. “But it’s true men and women can only be friends if there’s no attraction so she knows what she’s talking about. He’s not ready for a relationship, you can tell.” Aside from Chris, the other celebrities taking part in this series are Helen Flanagan, Tristan Phipps, Stephen Lustig-Webb and Jamelia. Also hoping to find love are Ella Morgan and Lauryn Goodman who is joining the agency at a later date.
