Privacy NoticePaul Sinha, a key figure on ITV’s The Chase, has shared an update on his health struggle and disclosed that he underwent a life-saving operation. Known as the Sinnerman, Paul has been battling serious health issues and has experienced several heart attacks. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, the 54-year-old revealed that he had the ‘worst week of my life’ when he had the operation. Speaking to hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Richard Madeley, the Luton-born star said: “I had the worst week of my life in December, being in hospital for a bypass operation. It was an extraordinarily dramatic week for me, not least on the penultimate day when I was trying to get some sleep and a patient two beds down had his wife on speakerphone.” The Chase star, who has been on the show since 2011, revealed that the fellow patient was discussing his celebrity ward mate with his wife.

It was it was just such a ludicrous.” When asked by Charlotte how he is now, he responded: “Well, it’s been tough, but you know, you keep fighting. You keep battling, not least because you don’t have any other options, really.” “People often call you brave. I’m not brave. I’m just pragmatic and positive and trying to, you know, keep going and keep moving forward.”
