Privacy Notice22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has made a jaw-dropping discovery about her family tree – and the revelation has totally stunned her brood. In a first-look clip from tonight’s (Sunday, 18 August) episode of the Channel 5 show, the mum-of-22 could be seen documenting the family’s unique story after making the powerful discovery. Revealing the big news, she said: “Heidie, you are Daisy’s auntie,” as she sent shockwaves through the room. In response, Sally Lindsay, who provides the voiceover for the show, added over the top: “A family tree produces some unusual results.” After hearing the news, an amazed Daisy told the camera: “Heidie is my auntie yet she is younger than me,” as an intrigued Sue looked on. Later in the episode, Sue revealed her plans to embark on a new project and pen her family’s memoir, to which husband Noel reacted with a hint of amusement. “When Sue said she has got plans to write a book, I thought, ‘She must be bonkers’,” he explained. However, despite the initial amusement, all of Sue’s hard work paid off and the family couldn’t contain their joy when she completed her book. “It’s here,” beamed a proud Noel as he saw the book for the first time, reports the Express. Meanwhile, after dedicating herself to the project, Sue was equally as proud. “Look, it’s us. It is a very proud moment,” she said as she held the book in her hands.

The exciting family update comes after Sue – who is mum to Chris, 34, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 28, Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 22, Katie, 20, James, 19, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 16, Max, 14, Tillie, 13, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, eight, Phoebe, seven, Archie, six, Bonnie, four, and Heidie, three – spoke to OK! about her brood and revealed that she would love to extend her family and adopt. “We adore being surrounded by kids so I’d love to adopt or foster. We’re not having any more of our own so it’s definitely something we’d think about when ours are older,” she said. She also shone a light on how the family dynamic has changed over the years as her older children say goodbye to the family home. “When they started to move out it was hard as a mum and strange not to have them all together. I dread the thought of an empty nest but know it will happen one day,” she explained. “But you can’t hold your kids back – when you love them you have to let them live their dreams.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
